Service Description
Suction Cupping Uses plastic cups and a precise hand pump to create a targeted, adjustable vacuum. Deep, functional release, used in modern remedial. A more intense suction pressure. Fire Cupping Uses glass cups & a flash- flame which consumes oxygen, creating a vacuum as the air cools, with a gentle, slow, soothing, warm suction. Traditional heat to restore energy flow & deep relaxation. 30 mins | Focused Fix Targeted relief for specific area (e.g., Neck/Shoulders or Lower back) 45 mins | Standard Release Manual warm up followed by cupping across the full back, shoulders and neck. 60 mins | Deep Recovery Includes an integration massage and full body cupping (Back, Glutes & Legs) While traditional massage presses down into the muscle, Cupping Therapy uses negative pressure to lift the fascia & muscle tissue. This vacuum effect draws fresh, oxygenated blood to areas of chronic tension, clearing out cellular waste and "lifting" the weight off your shoulders. Benefits: Clear Stagnation- By drawing old blood and metabolic waste out of deep muscle layers, removing toxins, clearing the path for fresh, oxygenated blood to nourish the area. Boosting circulation & reducing inflammation. Tension Release- Breaks up adhesions between the skin & muscle, stretching the connective tissue to improve mobility & a create a lighter feeling in the body. Detoxification- Promotes lymphatic drainage to clear stagnant fluids. Restores the flow of Qi (Chi)- In Traditional Chinese Medicine, pain is seen as "stagnant energy." Cupping acts as a vacuum that pulls this stuck energy to the surface, breaking up energy blockages, allowing life force to flow freely again. Cupping causes temporary redness, circular bruising marks that typically fade within 3-14 days. They are not traditional bruises. They are a visual sign of stagnation being drawn to the surface so the lymphatic system can clear it away. The darker the mark, the more congestion was present in that area. We recommend keeping the area warm & covered following your session along with staying well hydrated to support the clearing process. Please do not book this service if you are; Pregnant Take blood thinning medications Have a history of blood clots or DVT Undergoing active cancer treatment Have a fever or infection Have skin issues in target area e.g,, severe sunburn, open wounds, eczema, or psoriasis. Cancellation Policy
At Bodhi Flow each session is prepared with intention, presence and care. Your appointment time is held exclusively for you, and late changes can deeply impact the flow of the day and the wellbeing of the business. Thank you for honouring this exchange. A $10 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. The remaining balance is paid in person at your session. Changes or Cancellations made with-in 24-48 hours of your may incur a 50% fee of the scheduled service. This fee reflects the time reserved especially for you. If you cancel on the day of your appointment or do not attend your session, the full-service fee will be charged to the card on file. I understand that life can be unpredictable and plans may need to change. If you're experiencing illness, an emergency or genuine unforeseen circumstances, please reach out.
